This album is a compilation of vocal covers as a tribute to some of the best symphonic metal and gothic rock bands.

When put together, these songs tell the story of a young dreamy man who meets his very first love. He innocently took happiness for granted. Yet this person he was giving all his love to was carrying such a dark past. The young man realized that her secrets were slowly tearing her apart, and this started ruining their dawning love. Therefore he decided to flee this noxious relationship before things go wrong.

After this cruel deception, he wandered long, trying to find a way to start anew. Fortunately, a new encounter almost saved his life, helping him find a good reason to get by, and a new dream to fight for. The love he felt then for this newcomer was unconditional. However, the young man's soul was like contaminated by a strong dark force that was pulling him down. As if history was repeating itself, he gave in and got lost in dangerous addictions. His downfall frightened the love of his life, who eventually broke her promise to stay at his side come what may.

The young man has now lost all his dreams, and does not even remember what he is looking for. Like a fatality, or a terribly contagious sickness, the dark force ended up infecting the last protagonist as well, who found herself to be the only one who could not survive it.

Do not ever let yourself get contaminated by this dark force called despair! If one day you do, remember that the only cure is to have a dream to fight for. This is the only way not to let yourself down.
